I'm thinking of writing a novel at the moment...heres the story lowdown for anyone who's interested...
It is set in our world, at this time... In a moment the world is thrown into chaos... Monsters, Demons and Demons calling themselves 'Greater Demons' begin massacreing human and beast alike...
A group of people called 'The Dragon Clan' make their prescence known, as they force back the Demonic Army...
A kid, called Alfie, celebrates his birthday when the Demon Army attacks his home. A small force tries to take his life. He manages to survive the attack with the help of a mysterious girl named Sarah...
We realise that members of the Dragon Clan have a pair of souls... One human soul, one dragon soul. It surfaces that Alfie is being targeted by the Demon Army as he has the Dragonic King's soul in him. If the Dragon King, Rayne, is allowed to awaken, it would spell the inevitable end of the Demonic Army...
Alfie soon understands that the Demonic Army attacked Earth once before...4'000 years ago...
The Dragon Clan fought them back then, and Rayne led the charge against the Army, with the founder of the Dragon Clan, Bridge...
Alfie meets Bridge, amazed at how he managed to live for so long... Bridge tells him it is because he absorbed the Dragonic immortality when Rayne died during the last Demon War...
Alfie proceeds, with the Dragon Clan, to kill off the Greater Demons...
A year after the beginning of the War, humankind begin to hate and spur the Dragon Clan... the Phoenix Clan, with its similar origins, lends support to the Clan... Genetically enhanced humans wage war on the two Clans...
Once the Genetically Enhanced Humans, and the scientists who created them, were dealt with, Alfie and his new companions turned back towards their goal: Destroying the Demon Army...
Alfie confronts the Demon King, a Greater Demon who claims superiority over the other Greater Demons, and finds out he was the one who killed Rayne... Alfie vows to avenge Rayne's death...
Once he kills the Demon King, Alfie finds a large Egg nearby...
A few months later, the Egg hatches... Rayne, reborn and renewed, rises from the Egg... Rayne begins to grow at an alarming rate everytime he sleeps, and soon reclaims his stature...
The final Battle of the Demon Wars takes place on the ravaged fields of China 3 years after it started... The remnants of the Demon Army take on the Dragon Clan, Phoenix Clan, and the few GEH that are left...
Alfie and Rayne slice their way through the Demon Army... the meet the Demon General... the Mastermind of the entire War... Alfie slays him, and finds out that the Demon General did not design this War...it was Bridge...
Bridge shows up with a Shadow version of Rayne... he explains his reasons for starting the War 4'000 years ago, and 3 years ago... How he convinced the Dragons to join forces... How he set Rayne up to fall so he could gain Immortality... Rayne, in a fit of rage, charges at Bridge, and finds himself battling a Shadow copy of himself... Alfie confronts Bridge...
Alfie beats Bridge, but at a cost... The only way to beat Bridge is a kamikaze attack... With 'Heavenly Strike', both Bridge is incinerated, and Alfie loses the energy to live...
The Demon Wars ends with the death of Alfie and Bridge... the first and last Keepers of Rayne... How ironic, eh? |
